The professor’s “first lecture” will pertain to line calls. Remember when making line
calls if you are unable to see if the ball is in or out you must call it to your
opponents benefit. Sometimes in the heat of a game that can be a tough call.
If you are thinking of questioning an opponents call , be sure to remember, your
distance from the line, angle of view and net obstruction may alter your viewpoint.
Watching the lines for your partner will improve both his or her game, and your
game, keeping you both more alert of the court areas. Line calls are an
important part of the game and should always be “treated with respect”.
