The Winter in Paradise Wing Ding hosted by the Kings Point
Pickleball League provided a wonderful time for one and all.  

The Wing Ding attended by over 60 Pickleball players and

over 30 spectators included a Mix and Mingle morning play

The Mix and Mingle session allowed players to play each

game against a different team and with a new partner.

The afternoon Partner Challenge was designed to allow

novice, as well as experienced players, to compete in a

challenge competition without the tension of a tournament.  

.   Many fine Pickleball players from Kings Point, Peace River Preserve in Wauchula, FL,

and other local areas demonstrated their talented and competitive play during the

During the week prior to the Kings Point Pickleball League Wing Ding, Charley Belcher
from News 13, Tampa Bay morning news, was taught the game of Pickleball at Kings
Point by the Kings Point Pickleball  League.  On February 6th, Charley featured the
Kings Point Pickleball League,  along with his newly acquired Pickleball  skills, in his
live morning broadcast to educate viewers about  the game of Pickleball and to inform
his audience of the upcoming Winter in Paradise Wing Ding.

The Kings Point Pickleball League would like to thank Charley Belcher, and all of our fine
new and Current friends, for making The Winter in Paradise Wing Ding such a special
event that shall be remember for a long time.   We are already looking forward to next
year’s Winter in Paradise event and will again be welcoming all resident and non-resident
Pickleball players and fans to join us for a fun filled day.
