The Kings Point Pickleball League hosted over 50 players for their
Pickleball Jamboree on September 6th. Throughout the morning
and afternoon more than 70 scheduled and challenge games were
played by both recreational and competitive level players.
Games were played for 15 minutes, permitting all courts to be
“swapped out ” with the next game at the same time. Teams scores
were posted at the courts and often viewed by participants.
Players received goody bags, containing both snacks and individualized
scorecards, to allow that extra energy boost as well as a means for
players to track their individual and team scores
The Kings Point South Clubhouse offered an appetizing lunch from the
grill for players including hot dogs, hamburgers and pork barbeque
sandwiches.
The weather gods again looked out for the Kings Point Pickleball League
by providing a truly beautiful hurricane and rain free day.
The Kings Point Pickleball League would like to thank Donna Donald
for helping with organizing and recruiting players for the jamboree.
Donna has always been an inspiration to all of us showing the true spirit
of a devoted pickleball player.
The Kings Point Winter In Paradise Wing Ding is scheduled for
February 7th. Updates will be posted on this web site providing more
information.
